Thefts of Vases from Graves Suspects

Detectives were made aware of some recent thefts of vases from graves in Jacksonville.  Investigation led by Detective Kelley Burroughs revealed the suspects had taken the vases to local scrap metal yards around Jacksonville after they were stolen in exchange for money.  Investigative work led to the identity of the three suspects.

We are currently investigating thefts of vases at:

  • Memorial Gardens  - 7424 Normandy Boulevard
  • Trinity Christian – 800 Hammond Boulevard
  • Evergreen Cemetery – 4535 N Main Street

The suspects have been arrested and are currently in jail.

Jessica Ann Arnold, 1/13/1987

  • 210 Felonies (Grand Theft and Defacing a Gravesite)

Nicholas J Dennison, 01/23/1986

  • 213 Felonies (Grand Theft, Dealing in Stolen Property, and Defacing a Gravesite)

This is still a very active ongoing investigation.
