Robbie Hazen and the Riot to Headline on River Stage April 9

Every Saturday Riverside Arts Market (RAM) schedules live entertainment for their main stage, the River Stage. All headlining entertainers perform every Saturday between the hours of 11:45AM and 2:15PM.

This week’s line-up includes the following performers:

10:30AM-11: 15AM, Tobacco Pat:

"This is folk music without a sugar coating. Tobacco Pat's guitar sometimes has an ominous tone, and his words are as raw as the lo-fi recordings."-Florida Times-Union.  Tobacco Pat’s thoughtful prose tempts the listener to join him on a thoughtful adventure on the strums of his guitar.

11:45AM-2:15PM,  Robbie Hazen and the Riot:

Hazen’s quartet performs compositions that blend acoustic college rock, alt pop, and indie folk with an invigorating sense of fun, cleverness, and confidence.  Primed to be an indie/college radio darling, Hazen appeals to mainstream tastes as well as to hipster music hounds, thanks to his lyrical sincerity, catchy melodies, and solid tune-making. This talented vocalist is also an accomplished guitarist, and he is backed and grounded by the Riot, currently consisting of guitar-slinger Aaron Dumas and rhythm giants Nathan Engels and Ryan Hales.

2:30PM-3:30PM, LaVilla School Jazz Band

The LaVilla School of the Arts Jazz Band was formed in 1983. This jazz band is made up of 12 to 14 year olds in 6th through 8th grades.
