Riverside Restaurant Adds Childhood Favorites To The Menu

Riverside Restaurant Adds Childhood Favorites To The Menu

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Kickbacks Gastropub in Riverside does a nice Sunday brunch with the exact foods you would expect. They also have a ton of beers and drinks, plus the normal grub you'd find at most restaurants.

But tucked away on the back of their menu are things you won't find anywhere else, well, except maybe your own pantry.

"It's the Vintage Menu," said owner Steve Flores.

It's a part of the menu that features Hamburger Helper, Fluffernutter Sandwiches, Spaghetti-Os, and Sloppy Joes.

"Well at first it was a joke, but then it became serious when more and more people started ordering the stuff," Flores said.

The items aren't cheap: $3.49 for an order of Ramen Noodles for example. But Flores doesn't apologize for it.

"Well they're paying for us to make it, serve it and then clean it up," Flores said.
