As part of its annual celebration of World Environment Day (June 5), Anheuser-Busch and its Budweiser brand have again donated $150,000 to the River Network organization to help support watershed conservation projects in each of the company’s U.S. brewery cities.  In Jacksonville, Anheuser-Busch employees will be working with the St. Johns Riverkeeper organization on June 4 with a river cleanup.

Winn-Dixie is helping individuals and businesses to prepare now for what is predicted to be an “active to extremely active” year for tropical storms. The six-month Atlantic hurricane season begins today.

St. Luke’s Hospital has been designated a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. The Surgical Review Corporation, an independent, nonprofit organization that advances the safety, efficacy and efficiency of bariatric and metabolic surgery, has recognized St. Luke’s with the designation along with Dr. Steven Webb and Dr. John DePeri, both weight loss surgeons who practice at St. Luke’s Hospital.

The Center of Excellence designation is earned after the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery completes an intense review of the hospital’s bariatric program to ensure the highest quality patient care is being delivered.

Brunet-García Decorated at Regional ADDY Awards

Brunet-García Advertising's creative team was honored at the 2011 American Advertising Federation’s 4th District ADDY Awards with two Best of Category awards, three Gold ADDYs and 15 Silver ADDYs at the event held recently in Miami.  The competition, which honors excellence in advertising, is the second step of a three-step journey, taking winning entries from the local level to the national level.

Brunet-García was the only local agency and one of only three agencies in the district to win two Best of Category awards, joining Disney’s Yellow Shoes Creative Group and SapientNitro. Brunet-García's Players by the Sea Poster Series won Best of Advertising for the Arts and Sciences and the agency’s Block x Block Illustrations won Best of Elements of Advertising.
