St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside Looking for Beautiful Babies | Community Spirit

Lights. Camera. Action!  If your baby was born at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside in the last five years, we want your adorable photos to become long-lasting wall décor in the Family Birth Place.

St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside is hosting a baby photo competition. We are looking for single and group photographs of St. Vincent’s babies and children to be considered for display in the Maternity, Nursery and Postpartum areas of the Family Birth Place on the Riverside campus.  Winning photos will be professionally framed and used to decorate the walls.

"Pictures play an important role in creating a soothing, welcoming and healing environment, said Julie Pickren, Director of Nursing for St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside.  “When deciding on what pictures to display in the Family Birth Place, we thought what would be better than featuring children who were born here.”

St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside delivers approximately 1,800 babies each year.  That means there are many proud parents in our community who have captured countless, adorable moments on camera during their child’s/children’s first years.

To submit photos, your children have to have been born at St. Vincent’s Medical Center

Riverside between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2011.  Photos must be high resolution digital files and need to be submitted via email.  For more information on submitting photos and to see complete rules, go to www.jaxhealth.com/babyphotos.

The competition runs now through March 23rd, 2012.

Photographs selected by a panel of “judges” will be framed and displayed on the walls of the Family Birth Place at St. Vincent’s Medical Center Riverside.  Parents will be notified if their child’s picture is selected for display.
