St. Vincent's HealthCare Hosted Victory in Pink 2012

For the third year in a row, St. Vincent’s HealthCare hosted Victory in Pink, a celebration of women who have fought breast cancer. The free community event, meant to bring awareness to breast cancer, was held at the St. Johns Town Center Oct. 20, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The event was designed to celebrate survivorship and highlight the journey each breast cancer survivor takes.

Gators vs. Hoyas Basketball Game Sponsorships

Witness the University of Florida Gators take on the Georgetown Hoyas on November 9, 2012 at Naval Station Mayport. The nationally televised basketball game will be held in conjunction with the Thursday, November 8 Jacksonville Jaguars football game against the Indianapolis Colts as a part of Military Appreciation Week on November 5-12, 2012.

4th of July Fireworks By Water

Just in time for the summer's biggest holiday, Florida By Water released their 2012 list of places to view fireworks from your boat. So far, they’re featuring more than 50 locations submitted by local Chambers of Commerce and Tourism & Visitors bureaus from across the Sunshine State.

DCF tests tech at "Food for Florida" mock disaster

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Department of Children and Families employees from all over the state came together in Tallahassee today to test the agency’s “Food for Florida” disaster preparation operations. The program allows DCF to provide emergency food assistance to families in need after a hurricane or another disaster.
