JACKSONVILLE, FL – With three generations of women in her family who have battled breast cancer, Tiffany Kirkham has seen the effects of radiation firsthand. Kirkham was prepared to undergo whatever treatment necessary if she was similarly diagnosed, but she never thought she’d encounter radiation on a different front — in a battle against heart disease.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- St. Vincent’s HealthCare has named a new President of St. Vincent’s Southside. Kyle Sanders will join the St. Vincent’s HealthCare family on August 6. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas where he leads a 470-bed acute care medical center as well as an 85-bed behavioral health facility, children’s hospital, heart hospital, land and helicopter ambulance and a fully-owned PPO Network.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Department of Children and Families employees from all over the state came together in Tallahassee today to test the agency’s “Food for Florida” disaster preparation operations. The program allows DCF to provide emergency food assistance to families in need after a hurricane or another disaster.
